Calendula, also known as pot marigold, is a colorful and edible herbaceous plant in the daisy family with medicinal properties. It has been used throughout history both in healing and for its yellow dye. Today it is often found in salves and balms. The blossoms attract pollinators and can be used as cut flowers.
