Field Poppies, also called common poppies, corn poppies and red poppies, are flowering plants native to a wide habitat range of Europe, Asia and Africa. Usually blooms in late spring and early summer in shades of red. The plant's flower is often used as a symbol of remembrance. They are both grown by gardeners and grow wild in meadows.
